How ChurchShare verification works
Verification keeps the marketplace local, trusted, and focused on churches and church-connected ministries. Accounts can browse while pending, but posting and messaging require approval.
Ministry accounts
Ministries provide their name, type, church connection, contact person, email, phone, and city/state.
Other requests
Organizations that do not clearly fit the church or ministry flow enter a manual review queue.
What Admins Review
- Whether the organization appears real and local.
- Whether the contact information matches the organization.
- Whether a ministry has a reasonable church connection.
- Whether the request fits the purpose of ChurchShare.
Verification Statuses
- Pending: account has been submitted and is waiting for admin review.
- Verified: account can post listings and message listing owners.
- Rejected: account did not meet verification requirements or needs correction.
After Approval
Approved churches and ministries can create listings, manage their posts, message listing owners, and mark items claimed or completed.
